Training Young Journalists
Since 2022, Moving Mountains has partnered with the School of Communications at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) to promote investigative journalism in Áncash, a region typically overlooked by the centralized Peruvian media industry.
Peru Fusion Theatre
In 2020-21, Moving Mountains collaborated with Peru Fusion Theatre to revive and record Wandering and Sleeplessness, a play written by a survivor of the Yungay landslide which was originally performed in 1981.
Armando Armero
In 2018, Moving Mountains worked with Armando Armero, a Colombian NGO designed to locate children who went missing after the 1985 eruption of the Nevado del Ruiz, to digitise their archives and translate their website.
